About Scholastica Pembe

New Hope New Winners Foundation (NHNWF) is a grass roots organization registered in July, 2014 in accordance with NGO Act 24/2002. NHNWF promote the rights of children, youth and elderly as vulnerable groups in the society through the provision of care, support and protection. The Foundation is geared to address challenges that children and youth face, and who fall under the extreme condition characterized by severe deprivation as to endanger their health, well-being and long-term development within their communities. Vision A country where children, youth and the elderly have a prosperous life full of new hope and are change agents in their respective communities. Mission To relieve sufferings of vulnerable children and youth and their families in needy areas, and ensuring them full development through promotion and protection of their rights ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVE • To support communities to deliver effective services to children and their families who have become marginalized, disadvantaged and underprivileged in the society; • To promote entrepreneurial skills to women’s groups and young girls and help them set up small businesses and improve their livelihoods. • To facilitate increased financial access for underserved markets and financially excluded people particularly women living in rural and agricultural areas of the country. • To undertake independent analyses of major Child Development and related policy issues. • To improve NHNWF Organizational Capacity.
