The foundation of my career in providing community based recreation is the ability to develop effective relationships with public, community partners, staff and regulatory agencies. I have a strong background in leading people, developing community programs and ensuring excellent customer service and facility management. Strong background in planning community programs and special events. Strong background in working with not for profit community associations as a City liaison. Currently work with the Thompson Community Association Strong background creating and maintaining budgets. Manage facility operating budgets up to 9.2 million dollars. Experienced in supervising a large number of staff and volunteers in a unionized/non-unionized environment. Managed over 3 million dollars in facility upgrades and renovations. Chaired a number of City wide committees. Coordinated City wide customer service training for over 100 front desk staff. Experience in City Strategic Planning teams. Experienced in assisting low income families, people with disabilities and cultural groups to access recreation services.
