About Scott Abrams

Over more than twenty years working in the field, I have gained invaluable experience in web development, responsive and interactive design, user-interface and user-experience. I am self-taught in modern languages (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript E6) and frameworks (AngularJS, React, Vue), and make sure to stay ahead of the curve to be the best resource for my company. I'm always excited to learn new skills or languages to add to my repertoire and make myself a more useful, powerful developer. But my greatest strengths are enthusiasm, attention to detail and work ethics. I’m first in line to take on positions of greater responsibility, leadership and management. I truly enjoy teaching others about upcoming technical trends. With any project I take on, the end result is always to make the best possible site for the end user's experience, not necessarily on how the owner of the site expects the site to work. The projects I build are designed to meet the user's expectations for a site that is attractive looking, responsive to all devices, easy to navigate through and understand. As a lead developer, I always maintain a positive, energetic and open dialogue with my team and my clients, understanding that “no” is never the answer. My job is to recommend and pursue what will work best for all parties, and am extremely comfortable traveling and speaking with clients to ensure that their needs can be fully met by our products. I don't think that my true value comes through well enough on paper. My sense of dedication and responsibility, work ethic, communication, ability and speed to learn new techniques, and teamwork will shine with the company who is wise enough to hire me. I have always overachieved in my roles and and will continue to do so.
