My career has been driven by taking action and making impact in the industry that I have worked. My skills in program management, leadership, partnership development, and resource connection have translated from the not for profit industry to the for profit sector. I also have skills in housing development, home buyer trainings, financial literacy, housing placement, youth development, youth advocacy, urban planning, project and staff management, human resources, training, collaboration, faith-based work, grant administration, fund raising, events, technical assistance, funds management, marketing/brand development/management, and community organizing have all been results oriented and comprehensive to include sustainability plans. My skills and approach to community work are servant based and have proven to be adaptable and effective with people across all social and economic lines and backgrounds having worked in both the Detroit and Grand Rapids areas and across the country. I have a passion for comprehensive community development and empowering all stakeholders in neighborhoods and those who affect neighborhoods to be long lasting change agents. I have dynamic communication and organization skills that transform into effective leadership.
