About Scott Anderson

My accounting experience in the food and beverage manufacturing, consumer products manufacturing, professional services and real-estate industries has given me the opportunity to serve many fantastic privately-owned businesses in the Bay Area and throughout the US. My clients range from multi national consumer products businesses to real estate developers. Despite unique needs of these businesses and industries, one thing remains the same, they all deserve an accounting firm with a true depth of knowledge and expertise of the tax code, the benefits of proper tax planning, and emerging GAAP and IAS changes. My audit and accounting teams provide outstanding customer service, leverage management's strengths and the firm's expertise to provide an exceptional client service experience for the life of the business. I'm currently serving in a strategic role for our firm's sustainability reporting and assurance practice and have my FSA credential (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting) issued by the SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board). We have built out GHG (Greenhouse Gas) audit and limited assurance service offerings and are helping private and small public companies comply with regulation under SB 253 and SB 261. The new regulation is a new challenge to navigate but we're working with the CalCPA working group advising CARB on these so we've got those being pulled into these requirements covered for Manufacturing including sub specialties and industry focuses in Action Sports, Consumer Products and Food/Beverage companies.
