About Scott Antoniak

Scott is a Managing Director of Slate Asset Management and has over 25 years of real estate experience. Scott is responsible for deal origination and execution across Slate’s private businesses. Scott joined Slate in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer of Slate Office REIT, where he was responsible for the overall strategy, operation and performance of the REIT. Under his leadership, Slate Office REIT grew from $0.5 billion in assets in 2014 to $1.7 billion, entered the U.S. market and curated a resilient portfolio of high-quality office assets. Prior to joining Slate, Scott held the position of Executive Director in the real estate investment banking group at CIBC World Markets where he was responsible for the execution of capital markets and property brokerage transactions. He joined CIBC in 1997 and was involved in real estate transactions across North America totaling over $20 billion. Prior to CIBC, he held various management positions in commercial real estate finance. Scott earned a Master of Business Administration (Real Property Development) from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Western University.
