About Scott Arnett

I have a background in civil and mining engineering with nearly three decades of experience in the mining industry. I have worked on various capital related projects involving coal, non-metal mining, and mineral exploration designs, and I have a strong background in safety management systems, surveying software, and drafting design. I am a certified MSHA instructor, impoundment instructor, Troxler certified in compaction testing, Radiation Safety Officer, OSHA General Industry Certified, and authorized FEMA contractor with clearance. I hold a technical certificate in drafting and design, bachelor’s degree in public administration, an associate degree in business management and a graduate from the National Mine Academy, where I studied accident and health investigation and credentialed as an Authorized Representative of the Secretary of Labor. I have developed skills in policies and procedures, team building, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and industrial hygiene management.
