About Scott Aronowitz

My qualifications reflect my varied interests and wide variety of skills. Over the past thirty years, I have been an educator, both in schools and outdoor settings, and with the Peace Corps after serving as a volunteer. Over the past nine years I have been president of one board of directors, vice president of another and a project coordinator for local refugee resettlement. Over the past two years I have been a developmental editor, helping authors formulate the content, structure and voice of their first or next book. Avocationally, I have been a song composer, actor, writer and outdoor enthusiast. Moreover, I have been a First Responder and a teacher of Basic First Aid, and I have facilitated both low ropes and portable challenge activities. I have a BA from Brandeis University and a Masters in Teaching from The Evergreen State College.
