I enjoy contributing to successful and innovative mechanical engineering and product design projects as both a team member and project leader. I consistently perform well by utilizing my strong initiative, inquisitiveness, and commitment to excellence coupled with my experience in product engineering, project leadership, and team building. I have extensive experience: • Creating and reviewing 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks. • Design for manufacture of injection moulded, machined, and welded components. • Developing and documenting test plans to evaluate prototypes as well as existing product lines. • Project management skills including production of professional level reports and presentations, budgeting, and scheduling. • Frequent interdisciplinary communication with in-house sales, marketing, buyers, and management. I couple my interest in mechanical design with a dedication to principles of sustainability and efficiency, and make an effort to implement them as often as possible. I believe we need to utilize the resources available to us consciously, and employ technologies that minimize overall environmental impact as much as possible. I am team-oriented, and thrive in environments where effective interdisciplinary communication is valued and encouraged.
