I have worked on major European Aerospace collaborative programs such as. EFFICOMP, TANGO, AWIATOR, AWIATOR 11, ALCAS, Integrated Wing, SAMULAT,VITAL and ELF. Working for the CRC; The CRC has started a joint venture with Rolls Royse called CTAL in a purpose built building that is a pre-production facility for the Low Pressure Turbine Blade and the Fan Case. I have worked with the Blade team from 2005 to April 2012. I have worked with the Fan Case Team since April 2012. I have experience working with the following processes: Automated Tape Layer (ATL), Electric PID controlled self-heated tooling and moulds Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) Same Qualified Resin Transfer Moulding Mould (SQRTM) Resin Infusion Resin Film Infusion Thick Preform Manufacture using pre-pregs and dry carbon laminates with binder Z pinning Double Diaphragm Forming. I am the inventor/ co invertor on six patents, 2 for GKN and 4 for Rolls Royce.
