About Scott Barlow

Dr. Scott R. Barlow, DNP is Southeast Idaho's only board-certified and residency trained family nurse practitioner. He completed undergraduate and graduate school at Idaho State University and was subsequently selected to a competitive family practice residency program in Yakima, WA where he trained with six exceptional family physicians and numerous specialty providers. He is owner and medical director at the Family Medical Clinic of Chubbuck, The CPR School, and Need-A-Nurse Medical Staffing, LLC. Unlike many medical providers, Dr. Barlow has had many opportunities to gain extensive experience in both the business of healthcare and the practice of medicine. He has diverse experience in many areas of the healthcare industry from a practice and administrative perspective, including outpatient clinic, hospital, long-term care and rehab, home health and hospice, correctional healthcare, urgent care, family practice, education, training and specialty care settings. Dr. Barlow spends most of his time practicing full-time at his private practice, but directs activities in all three of his companies at an executive level on a regular basis. Dr. Barlow also enjoys Men's Health. We are a preferred provider with most major medical insurance and accept private pay patients. The CPR School - : American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Training. We offer training on a regular basis at our training site, but also travel to offer corporate, small business, industrial, and healthcare professional CPR, First Aid, and OSHA required trainings regionally (Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Eastern Oregon).
