About Scott Barnes

Ever since I was a kid, filming has been my inner passion. I still remember sitting in front of my old computer and using Sony Vegas for the first time, and editing my first ever YouTube video. As I went through the editing software and learning new techniques, it almost felt like magic, being able to create what I wanted, only limited to my imagination and ingenuity. Throughout secondary school I tried to latch on to any project ideas I could get hold of to improve my skills. I started watching tutorial videos everyday to gain more knowledge and inspiration. This passion carried me through to Lancaster and Morecambe College where I studied at Level 2 and Level 3. There were more resources available to me than I ever could have imagined. At the start of the course, it was at that point I knew that I learned truly how much there was yet to learn, as I thought I already knew what I needed. So, now, nearly the end of college, this passion remains with me. There's certainly more to learn, yet more problems to solve, and yet more to build. And for this, I am truly grateful.I am looking to the future, hoping to move to Manchester to further my education and look at making the most of the new opportunities that come my way.
