The Future. It's been my guiding star since high school, propelling me toward the man I aspire to be. I'm Scott Bates, a Junior Finance and Accounting major with a clear vision of a career in investment banking or asset management. While I relish the present, my mind is always fixated on the steps I need to take to achieve my goals. Setting and surpassing ambitious benchmarks is ingrained in my ethos. Whether it's maintaining a stellar GPA or securing a leadership position in the First Miami Student Credit Union, I thrive on challenging myself to continual self-improvement. Beta Theta Pi, my fraternity, epitomizes my values of principled living, while also fostering my sociable and humorous nature. Basketball, another passion of mine, not only sharpens my competitive edge but also provides avenues for forging new connections. Academically, I'm dedicated to maintaining excellence with a 3.95 GPA and have expanded my skill set with a second major in Accounting. My recent internship at Edge Tech Analytics has provided invaluable hands-on experience in investing and portfolio building, further fueling my drive for improvement.
