At CMC Materials with best-in-class 30% EBITDA, revenue growth was the strategic opportunity, and we acquired KMG while also growing organically +10% CAGR. At Stepan Company, we expanded margins by driving efficiency and reducing costs. This was enabled by creating an FP & A function that provided insights to guide targeted price / cost actions at the SKU level. I believe increasing enterprise value begins with developing the right strategy and relentlessly driving operating performance. In addition, professional investor relations (IR) activities can provide a multiplying effect. I oversaw IR at both CMC & Stepan where we created / enhanced our materials for clarity of message, we doubled our equity research coverage and developed meaningful relationships across the buyside and sellside to expand our investor base.
