My goal is to provide leadership on innovative construction and development projects that strive to set new standards for how we conceive, design, and construct our built environment to be more environmentally and financially sustainable, and supportive of healthy communities. History: Vice President of Development and Construction at Kohanaiki, a private ocean-front club community in Hawaii committed to preserving and enhancing the natural and cultural resources of a shoreline with a rich history. Founder & President of Meridian Construction & Development, construction management consulting firm based in Hawaii. Executive role in development and construction of Hualalai Resort, award-winning destination resort community on Island of Hawaii. Leadership role in construction of $350 million in luxury resort hotel projects in Hawaii. Management of commercial general contracting and design-build companies. Specialties: Planning and executing large, complex real estate development projects including on-site and off-site community infrastructure, luxury hotels, and master planned residential communities. Building highly productive and creative professional teams that execute diligently to exceed project objectives. Identifying and applying innovative systems, materials, and information technology to improve quality and efficiency in planning, design, & construction. Acknowledging and integrating local history and culture in to the core principles of hospitality and master planned communities to create places that are vibrantly authentic.
