About Scott Berkowitz

I am a learning and development specialist for the best team in retail. From leadership development in the corporate office to developing store team members, my experience allows me to reach a diverse population to unlock the potential in others. As a former Higher Education professional with experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff. My career has also provided experience in managing budgets, increasing income through sales of services, assessment, strategic planning, emergency action planning, and event management. I have had the opportunity to oversee upwards of 80 staff at a time, schedule and manage 50+ classes per semester, increase personal training sales by over 350%, oversee special events including health fairs and 5K runs, and develop new personal trainers, group fitness instructors, supervisors, registered dietitians, graduate assistants, and coordinators. My diverse experience has allowed me to become a great Human Resources professional.
