About Scott Brau

Currently, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with plans to pursue a PhD in exercise science/health sciences once I have completed this program. I have been a personal trainer through my undergraduate and graduate schooling. I have worked with clients of all fitness and age categories, but I have specialized credentials and experience with athletes and occupational athletes. Additionally, I have had some experience coaching high school athletes. I am truly fascinated by the physiology that surrounds athletic attributes and capabilities. Furthermore, I find the application of what we know about sport into the occupational athlete realm to be a very important and somewhat lacking area in both research and practical application. I personally seek discover and conduct research that may help to improve the Physical Therapy and Strength & Conditioning worlds to be able to make a positive impact on the occupational athlete world.
