About Scott Burson

Purpose can be found in any many ways and I am blessed to pursue purpose as a fitness center owner. Every day I have the great honor of walking along everyday people in their pursuit of being a better version of themselves. My journey began in 2014. I was morbidly obese, dependent on two blood pressure medicines and physically miserable. I ate all the wrong things, drank too much and never exercised. I knew something had to change if I was going to live a satisfying life. I joined American Bodyworks and hired a trainer who guided me along a path of fitness. There were no shortcuts, just a plan and consistency. And the payoff was enormous! My quality of life improved beyond my wildest expectation. I take no medications and have learned a new relationship with food and exercise that rewards sustained fitness. My goal is to help others in their fitness journey by providing a safe and comfortable environment where anyone can progress into a better version of themselves. Everyone's journey is unique. Sometimes the first step is the hardest. But it is well worth taking!
