Scott Cacurak has over 27 years of financial, accounting and operational experience, including over 16 years as a Partner with two global professional services firms. Scott is a partner with RSM US LLP where he primarily serves global public companies in the technology, media and entertainment and life sciences industries as well as asset management groups, including private equity and venture capital funds. He previously served as the Firm's Los Angeles Audit Leader for 5 years. Scott has also served as a leader in RSM’s PRIDE/LGBTQ Employee Networking Group. From 2005 to 2015, Scott was a senior partner at BDO USA, LLP where he served in various practice leadership roles in the audit and M&A practices. Scott served various global public companies primarily in the technology, media and entertainment industries. In addition, from 2007 - 2015, he served as a regional private equity and venture capital audit leader and also served as the National Director of Transaction Advisory Services. Prior to BDO, Scott worked in the audit, CFO advisory services and M&A/transaction advisory services practices with Big Four firms in Silicon Valley. Scott has also served in interim-CFO and operations finance roles with various technology and manufacturing companies. Scott has advised (including serving on the board of directors and/or advisory board) LGBTQ-focused nonprofit organizations. As a board member, Scott served as the Finance and Audit Committee Chair and on the Compensation Committee.
