About Scott Carmichael

My name is Scott Carmichael I'm 44 years old I live in Tayport, Fife. I started off at Tayport Primary School when I was 4yrs old after finished primary school I went to Madras College where I attended for 4yrs. After finishing school I did an apprenticeship in printing where my dad worked. I realised after being there for 5yrs this was not the career I wanted. Then went on to work with my uncle at JTC for 11yrs. Then decided I needed a change and decided to leave I went on to work at Tokheim Group which build petrol pumps. Then the time came that I wanted to finally follow a dream I always had which was to work in the golf industry so decided to apply for SRUC Elmwood College to study Performance golf. I am currently studying my HNC and looking to go on and do my HND then on to do a degree in performance golf at university. My passion has always been for golf from a young age, where I joined Scotscraig Golf Club when I was 10yrs old. While playing golf I also played football for Tayport Thistle from the age of 10-18yrs. After giving up football I decided to concentrate on golf more. I have won club championship, gold medal and also played for Fife County youths and mens level. This is my 25th yr at Scotscraig Golf Club where my handicap is scratch. I have two lovely kids Jack and Libby.
