About Scott Cochet
I completed my Mechanical engineering degree in 2014 from the University of Saskatchewan. Graduating in the beginning of the largest oil industry downturns in history was challenging but taught me many important life lessons. I started my engineering career in the world of R&D in the oil industry after working several months in the oilwell servicing industry. Working with a team developing new products taught me many important engineering principles, honed my design skills, and further improved my problem solving skills. Having a strong mechanical background and strong work ethic that I gained from years of growing up on a family farm has enabled me to have a successful career. Whether it's wrenching on an old project truck, fixing a daily driver, welding/fabricating on a project, or machining new parts for friends in the garage, I never stop learning, even outside of work.
