About Scott Colyer

I am ooking for a career either in Social Work or in Training and Leadership Development. My career began as a Student Affairs Administrator working with college-aged students either in Residence Life or Student Activities. I changed my career to Social Work to focus on mental health and family issues. I have been a generalist within the EAP working with crisis situations and ongoing treatment. Throughout both fields, I have focused on Training and Leadership Development. I have organized large student leadership retreats, staff trainings, and finished at Aetna co-managing the training needs for a 200+ person department. My strengths include: strong written and verbal communication, technical writing, presentations to large and small groups, virtual training, motivational interviewing, and short-term counseling.
