An energetic and well-rounded military veteran who graduated with a bachelor degree in psychology with significant experience in customer service type actions due to military experience in legal assistance, claims, and financial assistance. I have spent two years working directly with veterans verifying eligibility for educational benefits and assisting them with determining which type of educational benefits (Chapter 30, 31, 33, 35, 1606/07) are available and how best to utilize them. My Bachelor's in Science for Psychology moves me that much closer to my goal to become a counselor. I have several years of demonstrated experience working with military and veterans in multiple aspects by: • Interprets and analyze documents submitted by veterans applying for educational benefits and advise the individual of his or her eligibility and what they needed if they failed to meet the criteria. • Prepares several documents as a claims adjudicator that reflect the findings from my investigation into the matter and outline the regulations that were used to validate my decision in the case. • Provides exceptional customer service to all clients, service members, veterans and families, domestically or abroad, from all walks of life while serving in the military. • Initiates and implement events to build teamwork and comradery within the office. • Manage a legal office that consisted of two attorneys and five paralegals, which is responsible for all civil and criminal actions for two Army brigades, assists in claims from service members and operates a tax center for the base.
