About Scott Daly

Over my fifteen years in marketing and communications, I have been involved in every part of the communication process from strategic planning to tactical implementation and success measurement. It is this breadth of experience of seeing projects through from beginning to end that has allowed me to understand what kind of communications messages and tactics actually work in different situations. I believe my greatest strengths include: • Concise writing. • Being an inclusive and supportive team leader with six years of supervisory experience in addition to over nine years of experience managing external contractors. • Experience writing, editing and overseeing the design of a wide variety of communications materials, including materials explaining the sometimes complex concepts and ideas of emerging technologies. • Meticulous attention to detail with regard to content, design and logistics. • Ability to logically think through communications and business challenges while coming up with viable solutions. • Proven ability to maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. • Extensive experience with the MS Office suite, WordPress, Adobe Creative suite and over five years of experience managing corporate social media accounts. Outside of work, I am extremely passionate about community building, cooking with wine and travelling.
