About Scott Digel

During his career, Scott Digel has been involved in nearly all facets of contaminated site assessment, hydrogeology and management from conducting field work to providing direction for multimillion dollar environmental programs. Key components of his roles over the years include- Providing specialist support for hydrogeology projects, including groundwater modeling and aquifer assessment- Identification and quantification of the associated environmental liabilities- Providing recommendations for remediation and/or risk management of contaminated sites- Implementation and follow-up monitoring of the selected remedial or risk management measures. Scott also directs Parsons internal technical support group in Canada. This group provides specialized support including site specific risk assessment, groundwater flow and transport modeling, etc. As such, he has an excellent understanding of the uses of these tools in contaminated site management. He has also provided litigation support services and frequently interacts on behalf of clients with third party stakeholders and regulators regarding contaminated sites and general contaminated site issues. His is currently responsible for all aspects of Parsons environmental operations in Canada.
