About Scott Ditto

My education in the construction and building supply industry is broad based. I have sold materials on a wholesale and retail basis, inside the commercial, industrial and residential arenas. Georgia Pacific, now Blue Links stocked 100’s of products, commodity, import and niche. Greenwald Industrial was one of the best that ever was and we stocked over different products with availability to purchase more from over 300 different vendors. I have owned my own business and learned many of the good and bad lessons that opportunity afforded. I understand that knowing all building products and their different terms is difficult. Dealing with the many different types of customers and their varied needs, schedules and personalities can be challenging, but rewarding. The most valuable lesson I have received in my 23 years in the building industry is being open to learning new products, customers, vendors, methods, field terminology, sales techniques and the application there of, while quickly turning that new found knowledge into a benefit for the company I work for and the customer I am servicing. I know the importance of being uplifting and light hearted while remaining concerned for the ones in both my business and personal life. Short changing either side will only hinder my advancement to be a better person. My goal is to provide the best I can for my family & be the best person I can, while forging a rewarding balance of my personal & business lives.
