About Scott Doucet

I started my career working at 20th Century Fox and during a six month writer's strike in the mid 80's I was presented a new IBM PC. Immediately hooked, I quickly became adept at programming and changed careers focusing on software development and later graphics and multimedia. This natural evolution has helped me keep focused on the user-centered experience while providing the best technology available. Now as an IT Business Analyst I work closely with the customer and developers to provide the necessary documentation and requirements to ensure the project’s success. I moved to Jackson, Mississippi in 1993 working with Imagin, Inc, a digital agency company as Vice President and Director of Operations. In the first year I doubled sales while managing a team of designers and developers, creating award-winning multimedia projects and websites. After serving as IT Director for one of the largest printing companies in Mississippi, I launched my own IT design and development company in 2003, working with state agencies and businesses across the south. In 2009 I was awarded a small contract with the CDC, that allowed me to relocate to Atlanta to pursue other opportunities. I enjoy helping new designers and developers, and have authored several training CD's for the Virtual Training Company. I am currently living in Atlanta with my wife Brandie. I am privileged to work with an amazing team at Leidos, providing IT support for the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
