Scott identifies as a Maori Australian and welcomes people by “Kai Ora with a hongi” and “gday with a hug” Scott’s iwi Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngati Rongomaiwahine are from the Hawkes Bay and Mahia Peninsula region on the North Island of New Zealand. Scott is based on Gippsland, where he has lived both metropolitan and regional lifestyles over his journey. An emerging associate researcher with a passion for delivering user-experience-led teaching and education in the vocational and higher education sector. As a Startup Founder, Scott has designed, launched and exited startups, while also designing and delivering Innovation programs using the human centred design thinking (HCDt) model for ASX listed companies. Right now, Scott is focused on supporting the development of the national Biocircular economy and Regional Innovation Eco-system.
