Chef Scott Durrah is a seasoned culinary lover with a rich history in the restaurant business that spans back to 1996. His journey began with the opening of The Jamaican Café in Santa Monica, CA, which quickly gained favor among Hollywood’s elite, including notable figures like Michael Keaton, Woody Harrelson, and Jamie Foxx. In 2004, Chef Scott brought his talents to Colorado, where he established four restaurants that received recognition and praise from various publications, including the Denver Post, Westwood’s “Best of Denver,” 301 Magazine, LA Times, LA Weekly, and 5280 Magazine. These dining destinations included Eight Rivers in Superior, CO; Eight Rivers at 32nd & Lowell; Eight Rivers in LoDo; and Jezebels Southern Bistro in LoHi on the Northside. Aside from his success in the restaurant industry, Chef Scott has also ventured into catering, serving political events attended by notable figures like Vice President Kamala Harris, Senator Nancy Pelosi, and several Colorado elected officials, including his wife, Regent Wanda James.
