About Scott E. Cire

I am native Houstonian and began my career in 1979 by joining the United States Marine Corps, during my assignments I served as a military policeman and criminal investigator and worked throughout the United States with many international governments. After leaving the Marine Corps, I moved back to Texas and worked for several companies including Dow Chemical while putting myself through the Heart of Texas Regional Police Academy. Upon graduating, I joined the Fairfield Police Department serving my community as a patrolman and criminal investigator where I remained for five years. On October 1st, 1990 I was offered a position with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Internal Affairs division as a Lieutenant Criminal investigator. During this time, I worked with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies primarily focusing on in-depth investigations involving narcotics, homicides, bribery and major offenses that violated the Texas Penal code. In 1995, I was recruited by the Houston Police Department for their Criminal Investigations Division. Once completing a lateral program, I became a patrolman in several divisions working with the Gang Task Force Division and then moving back into criminal investigations involving high tech and industrial crimes. On July 1st, I joined Eagle Global Logistics (EGL) as the Director of Global Security and started their worldwide security program. I continued with EGL for five years working with federal and state law enforcement agencies involving criminal violations of theft, fraud and money laundering. During this time, I worked with agencies worldwide and company’s extending from major airlines, manufacturing and transportation. I hold numerous licenses in professional development and have an accomplished career as a criminal and civil investigator.
