About Scott Edwards

Scott has 40 years of experience in data communication, computer systems networking and instructional technology. He is now the Director of Netskope Academy, the leader in cloud access security. Prior to joining Netskope, Scott was Senior Director of Technical Training at Fortinet. Previously, Scott was Director of Education Services at Juniper Networks, held Senior Course Development management and Training Architect positions with Nortel Networks, and was responsible for the launch and day-to-day management of the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) program while at Cisco Systems. Scott was also the Manager of Technical Training at Telecommunications Techniques Corporation and Tri-Data Systems. He created courseware and taught engineering design changes for Ford Aerospace Space Missions Division and taught communications systems and electronics technology for the US Department of Defense. He is a graduate of the US Navy Advanced Communications and Electronics Technology programs with a specialization in Instructional Technology and held board certification as a Master Technical Training Specialist.
