About Scott Edwardson

My experience has been my best teacher. I have learned things that they never taught in school. Talking to people in the industry has given me insight to the many complexities of operating a business. In 2007 I shut the doors of F&F in anticipation of the crash in 2008. That in itself was a learning lesson. I always say "Avoid the problem by eliminating the situation." I live my life by this motto. I have over 20 years experience running crews in the construction industry. I estimated my own jobs and did my own layout and staking. I shot elevations to coincide with the topo of the property. I learned Synergistic Managment where I relied on my team to make decisions. The hard ones I had to make on my own. Specialties: Meeting prospective clients and entertaining long term clients. I loved ordering equipment and putting the rental companies against each other; I always came out on top. I studied Business Law but relied heavily on our attorney for advice. I am very computer literate with a strong MS Office background. I have used CADD and UNIX. Purchasing and HR were my responsibility. I am EEOC certified in interview techniques.
