About Scott Eriksson
Raised in a small town in upstate New York, Scott earned a Business degree from the University of North Carolina and a Masters degree from USC working as a Human Resource Director before turning his writing skills to screenplays in 2009. His first film was accepted into numerous film festivals and won multiple awards including Best Actor Award at the Boston International Film Festival in 2010, Best Narrative Short at both the Oregon Film Festival 2010 and the Charlotte Film Festival 2010, and an Award of Merit at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival 2010. For the next four years he developed his production company, Erik Sun Productions, for multiple short films to showcase his writing and won awards for almost every film screened at festivals. In 2010 he developed the website AsiansOnFilm.com focused on the Asian-American film industry and interviewed over 500 Asian American’s working in film and television for Asian Cinema Entertainment (ACE) youtube page, and then expanded that into a shorts film festival, Asians On Film Festival, started in 2012. In 2014, Asian Cinema Entertainment expanded again to take on the role of manager/publicist for Asian American actors.
