About Scott Fackler

For the last 28 years I have been a Manufacturing Technician with Intel Corporation at it's Aloha, Oregon Campus. My work has been in operating, maintaining, and repairing the following tool types: both wet and dry etch tools, lithography tools, diffusion/high-vac deposition tools, and materials handling tools. I bring a strong work ethic and drive for improvement and streamlining of processes after first developing a strong understanding of the systems. I am adept at reading and working with tool prints/wiring/plumbing diagrams for troubleshooting and repair of tools. I am always looking for ways to improve my knowledge of new systems and tools to be as flexible in the workplace as possible. I am trained in Lean Six-Sigma Principles of analysis and implementation. I have a desire to share my knowledge and skills with others. I am a certified Peer Trainer with 26+ years of individual and class instructing experience. I have experience in procedural documentation creation, ensuring procedures are accurate and reflect actual practices, and procedural adherence. I have been involved in several ISO audits and the preparation for the same. I am a very safety oriented person. I am currently a licensed EMR with the state of Oregon (license available upon request). I am an active Emergency Response Team Leader, trained in nationwide Incident Command System standards. I am trained in various manners of Hazardous Materials Incident assessment, response, containment, and clean-up. I am currently SCBA and Airline Respirator certified. I am a certified Level B Post Seismic Building Evaluator, trained in building occupancy assessment following natural disasters. Non-professional experience includes 10 years as a youth lacrosse coach, 20 years as an amateur roller-hocky referee, and 15 years as a local school volunteer tutor and classroom assistant.
