I have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and working in a round-the-clock news atmosphere, and I also know the ins and outs of publishing a daily print product, from start to finish. I have experience managing a team of reporters, freelancers and interns. As an editor, I pay great attention to detail, diligently check facts, adhere to style guides, and adjust my approach to get the most from writers. I am a strong writer who files clean copy and welcomes helpful critiques in order to be better going forward. My skills are well-rounded, and I love to learn new things and keep my knowledge base broad. I am especially knowledgeable about professional sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, UFC are my strengths).
