About Scott Gist

Scott is a dynamic business professional. Scott is a qualified automotive mechanic and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Micro Economics) from James Cook University. Following university, Scott was employed with Queensland Treasury for five years where Scott developed his skills as a professional Economist along with strategic relationships across a range of State Government agencies. In 2005, Scott relocated to Townsville to develop Supreme Automotive with a strong focus on Hybrid Vehicle Technology servicing and repair. During this period, Scott operated a large taxi fleet in Townsville and served on the Board of Directors of Standard White Cabs in addition to undertaking the role as Northern Delegate of the Taxi Council of Queensland between 2008 and 2013. In 2012, Scott expanded Supreme Automotive to Brisbane and opened a branch in Seventeen Mile Rocks Brisbane. After selling the Townsville branch in 2014, Scott relocated to Brisbane to further develop Supreme Automotive and in 2016 Scott commenced an adult training academy, Brisbane Professional College which is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority to deliver business and automotive training programs to both domestic and international students. Supreme Automotive was also registered as the practical training facility for international students studying with Brisbane Professional College.
