About Scott Golas

My partner and I have spent the last few years building the Spoke & Bird, this planet’s most successful and culturally relevant hospitality group which also employs the smartest and most attractive people in the industry. Prior to this. I was fortunate to spend half a decade (sounds longer than 5 years) with Centro and simultaneously start a business (dig-it-all.co) which I left to run and eventually sold. Most recently I collaborated with the Founder and CEO of Rise Interactive [Digital Agency of the Year (2013, 2014 & 2015)] to design and build Xmplifi, where I was CEO. Recognized as the #1 Best Place to Work for 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 with Centro I led the HR, Real Estate and Legal efforts. During this time I also built and led MediaOps, the managed services business unit. Before Centro, I was a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to Booz, I was the Global Director for NelsonHall. Previously, I was SVP and Chief Strategy Officer for Aon Consulting. Before Aon, I was Managing Director at Talent divine/MarchFirst, and began my career as a consulting Practice Lead for PricewaterhouseCooper’s. Having hired some awesome folks to work alongside me, I was selected one of “Superstars of Outsourcing,” by HRO Today Magazine and an HR Executive Magazine “Rising Star,” along with being a PricewaterhouseCoopers Innovation Award finalist. Luckily the Purdue admissions people didn't focus too much on my high school GPA and I was able to get in and obtain a BS in Manufacturing Engineering & Technology. I later earned a MS in Organization Development from the Loyola University of Chicago. I also spent a year with the University of Chicago - New Ventures Lab program.
