About Scott Gordon

The Milliken Aviation department is a BASC registered flight department and serves as a strategic asset which provides aviation travel services while exibiting a strong safety culture, mitigates risks, leverages best practices, and provides outstanding customer services to both our company and its' customers. I'm a driven individual that thrives in a challenging environment where I can contribute in meaningful ways. I am passionate about aviation and safety and am always striving to grow and learn both personally and professionally. I have had the privilege to be a part of some excellent corporate flight departments and have been able to contribute in the day to day management of these flight departments while expanding my experience and knowledge base in aviation. I am currently serving as the Safety Officer for an IS-BAO Stage department. I have lead the department through several audit processes and have been able to contribute in meaningful ways to the safe operation of the company aircraft. I lead the department SMS process and provide meaningful feedback to the department leadership and its' members. I am also responsible for leading the department safety meetings and providing recommendations on safety related issues to corporate leadership when requested. I serve as a representative on various aviation safety committees and round tables in an effort to continue to improve the level of safety in our industry. I pride myself on being the safest and most conscientious pilot possible. I am a firm believer that a good pilot is always learning and looking for new ways to approach challenging situations. I enjoy working with high performing people and being part of a team of driven individuals.
