About Scott Gray

I spent over 20 years managing business insurance programs and leading teams of professionals working together to achieve our business goals. I retired for the second time in 2011 and decided that I wanted to do something different with my career. I have a wealth of business experience and decided that I could use my background to find opportunities to give back to my community. With this in mind, my wife and I opened a K-12 tutoring center to help students and their families succeed academically in school. I have been managing and leading the business for 3 years. Managing my own business has provided me with a better understanding of the ways to efficiently manage a business to reduce costs while maintaining your service quality. I know that I have a great deal of business and project management experience that I can use to support other organizations to achieve their strategic goals for our community. I also have over five years of training and development experience as a contract and business trainer during my work with Fred Pryor/Career Track. These experiences have provided me with the confidence to help organizations to communicate and educate our communities on the benefit of exercise and ways to use our amazing resources to become more active. It’s an exciting time for me, as I transition into the next phase of my life and career. I am believe in staying active and enjoy taking walks with my dogs. I also like to ride my bike, when weather permits, to our tutoring center. I also enjoy taking my bike out on the weekends for a relaxing ride in our neighborhood or along the Richland Creek greenway.
