About Scott Hanson

I am a Product development expert with extensive experience in developing catheter-based delivery systems. For example; Cardiology OTW and Monorail Balloon Catheters (POC, Semi-compliant & NC balloon materials), Balloon Expandable Stent Delivery Systems, Arterial Sealing System, PFO Closure System and Orbital Atherectomy system. I also have experience in designing/developing Neuromodulation Lead procedure cables. I have 31 patents, developed and launched 17 different product lines. Most recent over the past 7 years I developed/managed a world class R&D Build & Technology Lab (BatLab) where we developed and launched the SenSight™ Directional Leads for DBS Therapy 01/2021 that is the most technically advanced lead in the world. I managed the technicians, projects and technology purchased within the Batlab, Materials lab, Test Lab and Tooling Room. I managed the SenSight Lead, Lead extension and burr hole device design engineers at end of DCT through DVT and product launch. Highly skilled at communicating, building influential relationships across the organization (operations) and developing teams and infrastructure.
