About Scott Hayes

My career path started in a hospital setting, Lutheran Hospital, working as a Lab Tech. The hospital required attention to detail, proficiency in computer skills and software and provided a very diverse environment of people to work for and with. Not always being an educator allows me to look at the day to day task of the High School programs with an eye for both academics and business. That experience and my phlebotomy background allowed me to work in the early stages of Trinity’s internship development to create a Medical track that focuses on educating students to be able to work proficiently in a hospital setting. Students who come through the Medical track are placed in hospital, veterinary clinics, industry and even our own Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. Developing a working and practical application for sciences and focusing on where this will take students as they moved past their high school careers was a challenge I enjoyed and focused area I will continue to pursue.
