Improving performance through observation, analysis, and action! I am passionate about using my skills and experience to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare work environments, allowing clinicians to give their patients the best, most consistent care possible. Given the recent changes in our healthcare system (e.g, increased acceptance of Telehealth and Telemedicine technologies) I am blessed to be a part of any team that improves the quality and consistency of patient care. I have years of experience in observation; gathering requirements through SME interviews, design of experiments, survey development, literature reviews and even facilitating a few focus groups. For analysis, I have used a variety of business / data analytics tools and software (e.g. LSS, Excel, VISIO, and MindView) to categorize, quantify and qualify the data as needed. I also reported the resulting information, depending on the scope of the project, using methods such as customized visual dashboards, PowerPoint presentations, and even a number of published, peer-reviewed journal articles. Accurate information, based on sound observation and analysis has lead to decisive action, such as-$1MM in delinquent payments recovered using a simplified invoice tool - 20% reduction in time required for weekly payment processing - 30+ Telehealth clients (and 100+ tele-psych and tele-neuro physicians) gaining realtime access to online scheduling - Dozens of customized workstation accommodations providing access to educational and vocational opportunities for workers with disabilities My natural curiosity, attention to detail, and desire for continuous improvement has served throughout my career in a number of environments including- Physician management for Telehealth / Telemedicine - Government sponsored assistance for people with disabilities - In-depth academic research - Industrial Research and Development
