PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Over the past 20 years, my education, training, and employment have been dedicated to honing and mastering my technical writing, research, data, statistics, evaluation, and project development skills. Through every position I have held since starting with the State of Arizona in 1988, I have written over 400 grant proposals. I have been responsible for training manuals, contracts, RFP and award based proposals, research and documentation, and technical writing. I have extensive experience in transforming technical jargon into simple language. My responsibilities have demanded an advanced skill in incremental and big picture thinking and writing. My experience has afforded me the unique ability to transform highly complex concepts into simpler, more understandable plans. Over my better than two decades of employment, I have directed, managed or participated in more than 100 projects. I have managed over 50 employees, and countless numbers of research and/or evaluation teams, as well as cooperative and interoffice groups. I have also managed politically and individually motivated groups and was able to create final products from all. I work well independently and in collaboration, under extreme deadlines, am highly dependable and can handle multiple tasks effectively. I have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS, Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect, and the INTERNET.
