About Scott Holtzen

President of Holtzen Engineering Group – Structural Engineering Consultants and Civil Engineers, which provide architects, land developers, and municipalities with our structural engineering expertise, and our land development engineering services. Scott began his career in construction building the things he now designs and engineers. Scott worked for a sitework construction company during high school and most of college. This experience gave him a real-life exposure and understanding of constructability and common-sense design. Scott went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Civil Engineering Degree, and immediately went to work in Alaska. He was exposed to some of the harshest structural design conditions in the county, ranging from high seismicity, permafrost foundations, & bridge designs resisting ice floes. A few years later, Scott returned to Oklahoma and is a Licensed Structural Engineer and Licensed Professional Engineer. He now leads Holtzen Engineering Group which provides structural engineering services to architects, along with site development and other civil engineering services to architects, land developers, and municipalities. Scott has successfully established himself in the Structural and Civil Engineering profession and is focused on working closely with his valued clients, providing project insights and advice to help his clients achieve their overall goals and meet their important schedules.
