About Scott Hudson

As the General Manager of Camp and Furnace, a unique venue that hosts events, festivals, and creative projects, I oversee the daily operations and lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and quality standards. I have been promoted twice in the past three and a half years, thanks to my operational experience, work ethic, and strategic vision. I have streamlined current systems and enhanced productivity, while ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory policies. I have also developed and implemented targeted training programmes to foster collaboration, communication, and best practices among the staff. Through my leadership and business management skills, I have contributed to the growth and success of Camp and Furnace, as well as my own personal and professional development. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Outdoor Education from Liverpool John Moores University, where I gained valuable insight into planning, risk assessment, facilitating, and evaluating outdoor activities and experiences. I have applied these skills to my current role, as well as to my previous roles as a Production Operative and a Customer Service Representative. I am passionate about creating and delivering innovative and engaging experiences that inspire and challenge people. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities.
