About Scott Hudson

I am a writer and independent musical artist. I have just completed my honours thesis (Creative Writing) researching how formal and narrative devices can demonstrate the imaginative consequences of neoliberalism and the construction of masculinities under neoliberalism. I have a long history working within the entertainment media through print, radio and screen. I have published features, interviews and reviews on local and international comedians and musical artists through Beat Magazine and Junkee, and was a founding member of Baked (fka Baked Goods Melbourne). I am to continue my studies, while pursuing further work as a researcher, publishing in the academic and science communication spaces. My fiction writing has been published in Etherea Magazine, and I was on the editorial board of Verandah Journal in 2022.
