Hobbyist turned professional web developer. Started out with PHP and MySQL, fell in love with Javascript and NodeJS, and have a crush on Go and C. When I'm not problem solving I like to bust out my Nerf and Lazer tag guns for fun. When at home I'm either spending time with my wife and daughter or fixing up the house. Programming is mainly problem solving with code. Once you learn the basics like syntax and IO, most programming languages are the same. I'm an experienced full-stack web developer with strong knowledge Javascript, both front-end and back-end. I know all the cool stuff like HTML, CSS, jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap, Foundation, and understand MV* frameworks. I even built a few frameworks of my own. I can use WYSIWYG editors like Dreamweaver, Expression Web, but prefer coding by hand with Atom, VS Code, or even VIM. When it comes to back-end I'm familiar with NodeJS, C#, ASP.net/VB.net, and PHP. I've hooked those up to datasources like MySQL, MsSQL, SQLite, VistaDB, and even simple JSON or XML text files. I've built multiple rest services using mostly JSON/JSONP, but also XML.
