About Scott Johnston

I am currently pursuing graduate-level education in health studies to broaden my skill-set in the hospital environment and prepare myself for management roles aligned with modern healthcare trends. In February 2022, I became a contributing member of the Canadian Association of Electroneurophysiology Technologists as newsletter editor. I had the creative freedom to completely re-design the legacy format in collaboration with the CAET board. I participated in a rigorous in-hospital training program that culminated in registration with CBRET as an Electrophysiology Technologist (R.E.T.). I previously honed my management and organizational skills at University and during my six years as a Landscape Foreman. I also gained invaluable technical, diagnostic and patient-centred experience as a Polysomnography Technician. I am continuing to use these skills and my education in biology and applying them in a hospital setting as a Neurophysiology Technologist.
