About Scott Kessler

I'm an experienced and proven investment research leader who loves delivering value for clients. I joined primary research firm Third Bridge in 2019, and lead Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) efforts for its Forum business on a global basis. Since 1995, I've professionally focused on themes, issues and companies in and related to TMT. My experience includes more than 20 years in equity research as an award-winning analyst and business/team leader, as well as time as a private regulatory attorney and an adviser on Capitol Hill. I've covered industries, companies and stocks in/around the TMT area since 1998, with an emphasis on software, Internet, IT services, and fintech names. I've received internal and external accolades for my efforts and achievements, enjoy regular communications with clients, and have been regularly cited and relied upon by major media outlets like Bloomberg, CNBC and The Wall Street Journal. In 2004, I started leading the U.S. Technology Sector team within the Equity Research group at S&P Global (formerly S&P Capital IQ). Some ten years later, I was promoted to Deputy Global Director, and assumed positions on the Investment Policy Committee and the Portfolio Committee, and significant additional responsibilities related to analyst recruitment and training, as well as business development, sales, account management, client communications, media communications, and compliance. In October 2016, independent investment research firm CFRA acquired S&P Global's Equity Research and Fund Research business. For more than 2 1/2 years, I led CFRA's U.S. equity research team as Director of Equity Research.
