For the majority of the last 25 years, I’ve worked actively as a packaging designer for suppliers to retail, protective and consumer packaged goods companies. I’m proud to have been a part of the design and development of eye-catching, product protecting and cost-effective packaging for a number of well-known companies like Haworth, Steelcase, Energizer, Gerber, and Kellogg’s. In addition to designing, I’ve also been closely involved at all major process stages from initial design and ideation through prototyping, trial runs and full production. In summary, my qualifications also include: Proven success in creating packaging solutions in several substrates for a wide variety of industries. Excellent knowledge of the packaging industry through participation with national trade groups, regular review of trade journals, conference attendance, competitions, and networking. Experience with managing research and product development projects focusing on packaging trends, increasing sales, functionality, security, aesthetics, increased efficiencies and material/cost-reductions and able to generate concepts and produce samples quickly.
